Ranked in the top 1.5% of agents in the country and as one of the Top 100 Mid-Size Teams in NYC, The Jane Advisory was founded in 2016 as The Danielle Lurie Team after Danielle was lauded as Corcoran’s Top New Sales Agent across all Manhattan and Brooklyn. In 2021, the name was changed to The Jane Advisory to reflect the team’s collaborative partnership. The Jane Advisory is inspired by Jane Jacobs, whose pioneering vision of urban life centered on the joy and beauty of human community. We share a boots-to-the-ground approach and are expertly skilled at match-making clients with their perfect next home or with the right buyer for their property. Danielle Lurie began her real estate career as a financial analyst for the San Francisco based REIT (Real Estate Investment Trust) AMB. After fifteen years in the film industry as an acclaimed activist writer/director and producer, Danielle returned again to residential real estate with a honed skill for helping her clients bring their vision of their home purchase or sale to fruition. Bringing creative thinking and integrity to each deal, Danielle pours passion and dedication into her work. Having worked and lived in myriad neighborhoods across Manhattan and Brooklyn, she is a true New Yorker with an extensive background in co-op, condo, townhouse sales and rentals. A women’s rights activist, Danielle also founded the Women in Real Estate Collective (WIREC), an inclusive community of female agents that fosters a community of support in this business. Today while leading The Jane Advisory and WIREC, Danielle lives a bicoastal lifestyle between NYC and The East Bay in California.  She is the mom of a young daughter and two step-children and dog mom to a Chocolate Lab named Moose.

Michaela Morton joined The Jane Advisory in 2020 as Senior Sales Agent and Head of Operations and Marketing, after making the move to Compass in 2018 from a boutique Harlem agency where she was a successful managing trainer and senior sales agent. With an unparalleled aesthetic instinct and an approach that's both polished and playful, Michaela is the team voice and its creative director. Since 2020, in addition to directly representing buyers and sellers, she has overseen the marketing for every Jane Advisory listing across Manhattan and Brooklyn, honing the narrative of each home and shepherding sellers through the listing process with skill and style. In her over a decade in real estate, she has become a Certified Buyer Representative and Certified Negotiation Expert, as well as the co-producer of the Women in Real Estate Collective (WIREC). Michaela received her BA with Honors in French and English Literature from Williams College and studied acting at UNCSA, the O'Neill Theater Center, and Cours Jean-Laurent Cochet (Paris). She is a former teaching artist with Dancing Classrooms NYC, and a current member of Bobby Moresco's Actors Gym.

Molly Gyllenhaal was born and raised in Brooklyn, and has extensive knowledge of New York City’s many neighborhoods. Having witnessed the changing markets and New York’s real estate boom first-hand, Molly is on top of market and pricing trends across all boroughs. Danielle's first hire to the team in 2016, Molly uses her terrific organizational skills, keen emotional intelligence, and sense of humor to ensure that her clients’ needs are always met and that the process is stress-free and enjoyable. 
Originally from the theatre world, Molly attended the distinguished Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts and continued her training at Emerson College and  T. Schreiber Studios in New York City. Molly's flair and care make her a beloved guide for buyers and sellers alike, and her easy rapport with fellow agents makes the deal process genuinely fun. Born in Sunset Park and raised in Prospect Heights, Molly now lives in Carroll Gardens with her husband and one year old son, Logan.

Zsuzsanna Bircsak joined the team in 2018 as its Head of Operations before becoming an agent in the field in 2019. A trilingual globetrotter who grew up in Hungary and has worked all over the world, Zsu has both a Masters in Corporate Finance and a yoga teacher's license – making her uniquely qualified to read the numbers, see the big picture, and bring both tenacious effort and Zen energy to challenging moments. After a decade working as a contractor negotiator and client representative for BNP Paribas and Morgan Stanley in financial hubs in Budapest, London, and New York, Zsuzsanna made the leap to real estate in 2017 and never looked back. When she's not doggedly helping clients achieve their real estate goals, you can catch her teaching yoga and meditation near her home in LIC, Queens, where she lives in a sun-soaked studio surrounded by plants.

Bryce Kristall is a native New Yorker and true team player with a seasoned marketing and advertising background. As a Senior Media Planner at Zenith she handled Sports Sponsorships for Verizon (one of the top spenders of advertising dollars in the United States) before kicking off her real estate career at Compass in 2018. Her tireless work ethic was honed on the soccer fields as a Division III athlete at SUNY New Paltz, and her laid-back demeanor is matched by an equally calming ability to find solutions even in the most challenging circumstances. Her goal is to make the process for her clients as smooth as possible — and she will go the extra 500 miles to do so.
